These terms govern your use of COS Recruiter, a platform connecting UK-based Certificate of Sponsorship healthcare workers with verified employers. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

1. About COS Recruiter

COS Recruiter (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a digital platform that connects healthcare professionals holding or eligible for UK Certificate of Sponsorship with verified employers in the United Kingdom healthcare sector.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
  • One person may only maintain one active account

3.2 Account Verification

  • Healthcare professionals must provide valid documentation proving their qualifications and right to work in the UK
  • Employers must provide proof of their right to sponsor overseas workers
  • We reserve the right to verify any information provided

4. For Healthcare Professionals (Candidates)

4.1 Service Usage

  • Our services for candidates are provided free of charge
  • You must provide accurate information about your qualifications, experience, and right to work
  • You are responsible for keeping your profile up to date

4.2 Documentation Requirements

  • Valid passport and visa documentation
  • Professional qualifications and certifications
  • Right to work documentation
  • Any other documents we may reasonably request

5. For Employers

5.1 Subscription and Fees

  • Employer services are provided on a subscription basis
  • Fees are as outlined in your subscription agreement
  • Payment terms are net 30 days unless otherwise agreed
  • Late payments may incur additional charges

5.2 Employer Obligations

  • You must be a legitimate healthcare organization with the right to sponsor overseas workers
  • You must comply with all UK employment and immigration laws
  • You must provide accurate job descriptions and requirements
  • You must treat all candidates fairly and without discrimination

6. Platform Rules and Conduct

6.1 Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Harass, abuse, or discriminate against other users
  • Attempt to circumvent our security measures
  • Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data
  • Share your account credentials with others

6.2 Content Standards

  • All content must be accurate, lawful, and appropriate
  • Content must not infringe on intellectual property rights
  • We reserve the right to remove content that violates these standards

7. Data Protection and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. We are committed to protecting your data in accordance with UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Intellectual Property

  • The platform, including its design, features, and content, is protected by intellectual property laws

8.2 User Content

  • You retain ownership of content you submit to the platform
  • You grant us a license to use your content to provide our services

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We provide our services “as is” without warranties
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the fees you have paid in the previous 12 months
  • Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud

10. Employment Relationships

COS Recruiter is a platform facilitating connections between candidates and employers. We are not a party to any employment relationship that may result from use of our platform. Employment terms are solely between the employer and employee.

11. Termination

11.1 Termination by You

  • You may close your account at any time
  • Employers may cancel subscriptions with 30 days' notice

11.2 Termination by Us

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms
  • We may terminate the service with 30 days' notice
  • We may terminate immediately for serious breaches

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notifications. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
